newb ohm question ...

Receiver: RXV650 or HTR-5760

From what I read...the receivers are both 8ohm...This speaker is 6ohm.

If the receiver is properly vented, will this cause any problems(or damage) to either the speaker or the receiver?

You should be fine as long as you don't drive it too loud
