i have a couple questions. i'm looking into buying a receiver.
i've narrowed it down to the marantz 8400 vs denon avr 3805 vs outlaw 1070 or the rotel 1056 vs marantz 8500.
i had a question regarding the marantz 8400 and the marantz 8500. the 8400 is going for around 600-700 on ebay and about 800 online retail. my question is, is the bump up in price from the 8400 - 8500 worth it? the increase in power is not my main concern but i did notice that the 8500 has a few extra features including lip synching abilities, and the Marantz Room Accoustic Calibration. if the bump in price is worth it, i'd like to know what the pros think of the marantz 8500 vs the rotel?
also, i need a new sub. i was considering the dayton titanic kit. any thoughts about this sub?
