hi guys just a quick hello im from Essex and quite dumb when it comes to surround sound just know what i have researched
I have what i consider a fairly good set up thanks to a friend selling for peanuts i mean less that he paid for speaker wire and that cost him £240 came complete with all wire and set up mic remote and manual
i have a Denon avr-2805 only running it as 5.1 as my room don't seem big enough for 7.1 even though i do have 2 spare JBL control one speakers that im thinking of selling was told should be able to get £80 for the pair as for the other speakers i have 4 Cambridge audio s-30 for front and rear an eltex ht-2 centre and a Wharfedale diamond sw150 sub woofer what do people think

If it brings you joy then who cares what we think...but since you asked!:D

I have not ever listened to any of these speakers but It looks like solid equipment. The only thing I would try to address is matching the right. left and center to make the sound stage across the front more seamless . That being said some run different centers and seem to enjoy the sound.

Look at the Cambridge S50 for your center channel - Or buy another
pair of the S30, and use one as a center ( It only costs a few dollars
more than the center). Then decide if you want to upgrade your sub.

The Cambridge S30, are my favorite budget speakers - Good Luck!
