New System. Questions for all!

Hey guys,
I just placed an order for the following components:
1 pair of Energy C3 Bookshelf Speakers
Denon 1804 Reciever
Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum

I plan to run a digital or optical coax cable from the SB to the reciever. I was wondering if anyone has a similar setup where their main source is a computer. If so, how does the sound stack up versus a dvd player or a cd player? Is there naything else I should know? Thanks!

I've got a similar setup and I think it sounds great.

I've got a tivo/HTPC like computer with digital out through the m-audio revolution 7.1. Video Quality could be better but I imagine thats because I'm using a cheap cheap s-video cable out from a geforce video card.

All my music is on my computer. Right now, I don't even own a dvd/cd player. I run an optical cable out of my Hercules Fortissimo III 7.1 sound card to my stereo. My mp3's sound fantastic.
