I wanted to say thank you to any and all the advice not specifically directed to me, but all that I have read here.
I am now the proud owner of an SVS 20-39 PCPlus. I am sure I will be loving it for years to come.
WAF...It was sitting all set up for about 4 hours, we watched a movie and when we started to watch tv she laid down on the sofa face front and said..What is that?!? looked back at me and I just smiled, she likes the look, it fits in perfectly!! I am round, it is round familiarity, you know.. :D

Thanks to all. I will be a member for years to come.

Congrats, I'm sure it fits in just fine w/the rest of your setup.

You'll enjoy it for quite some time, at least until you want a second one... :D -TD

Congratulatioins. I just got an SVS sub too. As good as it sounds now, you may want to get a low frequency test tone disc and a Radio Shack analog sound pressure level meter and check out your in-room frequency response of your subwoofer. You can find a data logging and graphing spreadsheet by searching the internet for Berringer Feedback Destroyer (BFD) DSP1124P. If you have a big peak or erratic graph, I got a BFD DSP1124P parametric equalizer for $100 on the internet. I have not had the opportunity to equalize my new subwoofer yet. The BFD is a little difficult to dial in. There is a Guidebook on the internet for the BFD DSP1124P which is a big help. Other people on this site can also offer advice as the BFD is a popular low-cost option to getting the best out of your subwoofer in your particular room.

Congrats! I'm sure your going to love it for some time. I too just acquired a new SVS sub, and I am thouroughly enjoying it. The best bass I've experienced (short of being at a rock concert). Well it may actually even be better.

Congrats!

You'll be surprised how different some sounds can be with those big guys. Look in the movie section for the "Killer Bass Movies" discussion for many cool "test" movies! Lol :D

Congratulations! :D It's always nice to see a fellow SVS sub owner gushing over his new toy. Mine represents some of the best money I've spent yet on any type of A/V gear. How long do you think you'll last before getting another one?? :D

I doubt I will get another one in the near future. I can't even use this one to its potential, but the little that I can/do use it makes a world of difference making the Pulse for the EMP in Superman Retuns THERE :) i never felt it prior to that without the Sub. Watched King Kong, Superman and Live Free Die Hard again all yesterday :)
I need to move, can anyone tell me how to make more money.
Anyone the IT communications managers in Canada of a huge company looking to save a ton of money make me your consultant or Corporate cell phone manager, that will help a bit :) Need more customers, must ... have ... home ... theater. Need house. :D  ;)

The room is about about 15'-18' x 25'-30' x 8'-9'

I calculated it to about 3500 cubic feet once. But I will not be using this to its fullest extent until I move, if I did I would be evicted. I figured I should make this the last sub I need to buy, unless I ever need a second one.

:)

Pictures updated, tried getting artsy a bit.

Thanks guys. I just wanted to follow up and say I have a few more pictures online now. I tried being a little creative with them this time.
You can view the pictures at any of the url's listed. they all bounce to the same primary site. Maybe tell me what URL catches your attention the most, one day I will use one to open my own site, rather than bouncing to the wifes site.
