New rig help, Marantz 6008 with B&W 683 S2

I didn't see the Marantz on that website. What is the price difference?

If it is $300USD difference, I would get the Audyssey XT32 + dual Sub EQ. I wish I could get XT32 for my Denon AVP-A1HDCI for only $300.

It has xt32 just not dual sub eq.

I thought the Marantz 6008 only has XT?

Yep your correct, my bad just skimmed the specs. Not sure why they don't simply distinguish each level with a different designation.

Thanks for replies all, really appreciate it. I'm probably going to go with the 6008, the step up to the denon is about 500 dollars equivalent here. Just need to decide between getting the sw115, or taking the sw112 and getting B&W centres.

I'd personally go with the klipsch, they both probably have similar 40-80hz output, with the klipsch having the edge below that. You can read the Josh Ricci's review of it here at audioholics in the sub section under reviews

I personally would go for the Velodyne.

Overall, I feel they have similar performance, but the Velodyne has more "prestige" as far as Subs go.

Hahaha, guess it's subjective. Went with the Klipsch SW 115, B&W 683 S2 Fronts, Marantz 6008. Thanks for the help!
