New Remote - Wife Tested and Approved

I have a new Harmony 900 remote as of about a week ago. It's mosthy programmed except for my Ruku box.

The wife was home sick today and decided to watch a little TV. He has not used the remote at all and was able to pick it up and get the system running without calling me at work.

I don't care for the new RF blaster system. I'm still sorting how I'll get that setup. I may build some cables and connect to the rear remote ports on the receiver and bd player.

This remote replaced a five year old Home Theator Master MX-700.

I just picked up a Harmony One and couldn't be more pleased. It's better than I expected. You must be referring to the Roku video box because I had no problem with the Roku Soundbridge. It was on the menu (M1001) and works like a champ. Search around. The only function I had to "teach" the remote was the DVR button on my Fios Motorola box and that took about 2 minutes.

One thing I noticed was that even though my TV and BD have descrete power codes, the remote used the toggle power. I had to teach it the desctrete codes. Once that was done it waqs great.
