What time of year do most companies release their new models? Are we seeing every-year updates to their receiver lines, or does it skip a year or two?

Trying to decide to buy one now or wait a few months if something is going to get released

I think Summer & Fall is when they release new products.

But some of the lines are not released every year.

For example, the flagship models may be released only every 4 years or longer (Yamaha Z11, Denon 5308).

I'm kind of waiting for the next flagship models myself.

I'm not a flagship guy. I'm eyeing the Denon 1910, Onkyo 806(?) and HK 254 right now. Wondering if I buy, when they'll be replaced.
