New Reciever Ideas?

I am looking for ideas on a new reciever... it will be replacing a Sony STR-DE545...

Right now the Sony is connected to:

Right\Left: Klipsch RF-62
Center: Klipsch RC-52
Surrounds: Klipsch RS-52

Sub: Paradigm PS-1000

I have been looking at the Onkyo TX-SR876, but since it's new model time... I'm not sure now, and it doesn't seem Onkyo is replacing this model with anything close...

i would say you couldnt go wrong with any brands higher end pieces... i have a 876 and love it... but i have alwas been an onkyo user...

if i could do it again, i would have spent the small extra and went with the integra 8.x.. it atleast adds an eathernet for custom installs...

maybe check out outlaw too, the have a new beast coming soon...

it runs rather warm... so i have to leave the door of my entertainment center open when i use it...

but i would think that is common among these power hungry beasts...

yeah that seems to be the consensus, my gut is telling me to get the 876, the Denon 3310CI gets me going a little too... though it doesn't seems to be as powerful...

i was torn between thoes two also... but really the only think the denon has on the onkyo is networking...

the onkyo has a better video processor... that was the deal breaker for me... well that and ive alwas been an onkyo guy..

like i said though, i wish i would have looked harder at the integra line... but i am very happy with my 876...

There has been some issues involving Onkyo receivers,quite a number on this forum, there for check out some of the Denon models before deciding on the Onkyo.
