Ok.. so after a couple beers and reading some post for a while it looks like i have a lot of updating to do!!
i built a garage with a room above almost 10 years ago. nice room with a bar typical MANTOWN!
it is 28' wide by 22' deep. when i bought my Maranrz i bought Camebridge sound works speakers MC 300 front, center and rear center and the suround rear are the sr 300 which i am sure i sould update next with the sub woofer..

so it is a good size room i have to fill..

boy time flys by!!! yikes!

Yamaha A1000
Marantz 6005
Onkyo 808/809

In a room that size, I’d prefer dual subs to even out the bass response. Epik Legends, Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus (current sale $467).

Are you in the US, or north of the border?

Denon AVR-4311CI: Hands Down

Save just a few more bucks for the Denon AVR-4311CI, as you can pick one up for around $1499 delivered to your door. This will allow you to grow, and have some superb SQ as well. One VERY FINE AVR, so just save a few more bucks for many years of enjoyment ahead.

It will crank out 184W/Ch. into 8Ω speakers, with two channels driven! Also, has Audyssey MultEQ XT32 -- with 512 more sample points than XT, and will EQ Dual subs.

Also, can go up to 11.2 w/ one 2Ch. amp. since it has 9 amps internally each at 140Watts into 8Ω. And can also, run 4Ω speakers as well.

Made in JAPAN -- and a lot nicer overall than either the 3311/12 models by far, as I have a 3311 also, and Night and Day difference just in Weight alone!

You guys can PM me regarding that site if you want. I have some experience.:D

Let's say I went into a Best Buy store, which is Denon authorized, and bought a Denon 4311 in CASH using my employee discount for $900.

Then I sold it to you for $1,100 and made a $200 profit.

Will Denon know that I bought that AVR? Hmmm.:D

Denon 3312
You can get a Denon AVR-3312CI for around $879 New Delivered to your door, and one Very Nice AVR and not a low end unit either, but certainly not a Flagship Model at the High End either.

I have the 3311CI, and it is Awesome for Music and HT, running 5.1 with Audyssey MultEQ XT, and has Preamp Outs if you later want to ADD an external Amp for some extra Beef (Power) -- Hook it up to an Emotiva XPA-5, and you'll be Rockin in SPL. :D

I just noticed the 4311 for $1069 + $59 on Independentaudiovideo:

I've talked with Mark Herman of this store, and he seemed pretty nice.:D
ADTG -- they are NOT an Authorized Dealer, so NO Warranty per Denon is what I was told, but an excellent price if your willing to risk the Warranty stuff. I heard the Wholesale on it was around $1200 USD, wonder how he can sell them that Cheap? Maybe, those he has were made in China (Just Kidding).

How much is a Warranty Worth?

Nothing if it does not die, but certainly just a Piece of Mind for sure.
