New receiver???

Hi, no not really as I have found that listening to these over the NET is not representative of what you can either purchase on SACD or download from somewhere like HD Tracks, even then you can get some bad recordings or copy's of. I have somehow purchased 2 copies of a live Elton John concert on DVD one is really good the other is totally crap in the sound, I have a feeling one is a non genuine copy and yet both were purchased from reputable shops here in NZ.

The original mix was unlistenable for such a great album...this is the finest remaster I've come across.

I believe Martin Phillips and his band The Chills are from Dunedin...I'm just teasing with you about saying hi.
It's like when you meet someone and they say "I'm from New York City."
Then you say...."Cool, do you know Bob?"

Before I die, I would have loved to see two places on Earth...New Zealand and Switzerland.
Either aren't going to happen, but I can dream.

Thanks, I migrated to NZ in 1984 after leaving the UK (Liverpool) in 1980, bummed around Europe working and then Australia, I don't like Australia too hot and too many things that can kill you, here in Nelson NZ it is paradise and I am lucky to be here, I have travelled the world including the USA and seen some amazing places but I will always come here to live.

Don't know if I can live in Australia either they got those really big rabbits they pretty good MMA fighters.
