New Oppo 981 Video Quality is Great

Hi All,
Just got my new Oppo 981 and I am very happy with the video quality. My TV is Pioneer Kuro (720p) and the we watched Zulu tonight, I could not believe the clarity. The ability the Oppo has to render original films on video is really impressive, crystal clarity.

I put off the Blu-Ray because I did not by the 1080p Kuro (saved the $1400) and I tell you from my viewing distance etc. I am very happy.

Congrats. I just got the lower end 980 and I was amazed at the difference. I even hooked up another player just to make sure I wasn't fooling myself.

When I first hooked up my Oppo 981, I was stunned at the quality too! So much, in fact, that I have no problem putting off Blu-ray for quite a while. Simply stunning picture quality.
