New Onkyo line?

Looks like the possibility of a lot of features for the price.

Onkyo doesnt even have it listed on their site, but the 504 retails for the same price.

The 3 HDTV inputs are component vids...the specs on the 504 are identical.

I don't think the 504 has the Audyssey room correction. Onkyo tends to migrate features from the higher models to the lower models with each new product year and it looks like the case here is that the Audyssey from the 6xx series is migrating down into the 5xx series.

Now I have to wonder if there will be a new 7xx series as the current 674 has more features (other than THX) than the last 703 model.

I'm thinking that the TXSR505B in nm2285's link is the new model of the 504, like how the 503 was last years model (or rather, last last years model).

Just a thought;
As MDS said, Onkyo has a habit of "migrating " features downward.
My knock against the 6xx series has always been it's lack of a full set of pre-outs. I'm wondering if the 605, logically assuming it's on the way, will have the feature generally saved for the 8xx and 7xx models.
If so Onkyo may just make a good splash with the new models in the low to mid priced market.

I would hope so, more and more often pre-outs are showing up on lower priced models, like the Pioneer 810 series.
