Hey Guys, new to the forum. I've always been a bit interested in high quality audio, but never had the money to really dabble. Used to have a decent vintage yamaha receiver, but that disappeared while moving.

Now I've got a Kenwood VR-7070 powering some NEW (to me) Wharfedale Diamond 7.3's

So far I'm absolutely in love with the Wharfedales. Previously I had a blown set of Infinity SM-112's, but they weren't worth fixing and I ditched 'em.

I'm looking at picking up a matching center channel for movies, but so far listening to music has been an absolute treat!

I do have a question. Now that I'm hooked, I'm looking at what's next. I'm aiming at turning the 7.3's into rear speakers not so far from now, and then picking up a bigger set for the fronts. What would be the logical (and value conscious) upgrade to the 7.3s?

Thanks! Can't wait to dive in and learn the ropes in the audio world.

So far I've crammed my brain with visual knowledge and made a business out of it. My expensive habits will surely make the wife upset though. I gotta be careful with this audio stuff. Look up Drew Carlson Photography if you want to see my work
