Ok, I purchased a 32" Proview LCD television the other day from Costco and am pretty happy with it. It doesn't have a ton of features but it gets the job done. My question is about setting up all of my components.
This is what I have now:
TV- Nothing with coax
Video One: DVD or XBOX
Video Two (S-Video): DirecTv DVR (tivo)
Video Three (HDTV) DirecTv Hi Def Box
Video Four (HDMI) Nothing
VGA: Nothing
The reason I am running two DirecTv boxes is I couldn't afford the $600 DVR Hi-Def box.
My problem is I don't want to have to change my DVD and XBOX back in forth on video one. Is there a way to connect either of these to the VGA mode? I probably could upgrade my DVD to HDMI but I need to wait a couple of paychecks for that because I am looking for one of those "theatre-in-a-box" systems next. Any suggestions on how to implement this in the future?
