a slighlty unrelated post about my new klipsch RF-82 towers....
my early feedback is that these speakers are very good for movies. in my experience, many (most?) movie soundtracks are not as demanding or dynamic as some 2-channel music can be.
with that in mind, i have run the new set up thru some movies and some music, all powered with Yamaha RX-V2500.
for movies, as i said, the klipsch speakers seem to do a good job across the front. no complaints thus far.
for music, however, the RF-82's lack quite a bit in my opinion. there seems to be decent bass, decent treble, but something is missing in the mid-range. i have several well-recorded CD's that i know by heart. compared to my boston VR3's, the Klipsch RF-82's just don't sound as full for music; not bad, just not nearly as rich or as full.
it doesn't really matter to me, since i have a dedicated 2-ch music room for my beloved boston's. but, i write this as a simple, non-technical review for anyone who might be interested.
