Hello I have a question about my av receiver. I also have the Roku 3 with hdmi output and trying to connect to my non-hdmi Motorola DCP-501 receiver. Is there a way I can connect to get 5.1 to my receiver then to my tv which has a HDMI inputs

If your receiver has a SPDIF optical input, look for an HDMI converter that will maintain the 5.1 signal at the optical output with a HDMI pass-through to send the video on to your TV.
