I just don't get it, I am old enough to seen what those old style speakers looked like, just ugly, are audiophiles just that into retro?
It's not that they're actually audiopiles, they like old things or they want to hitch their wagon to a trend and they have the money to pay the exhorbitant prices. If they're going to buy these, they may as well buy electronics that were never as good as Audio Karma members believe, but cost as much as a new car at that time. I jsut checked REverb.com for the price of a Pioneer SX-1250 and they show $4599.
