J&R Music World started as a shop in NYC in 1971. They quickly expanded and started doing mail-order AV sales (think Sears Catalog). For a long time, they were the 800-lb gorilla of mail-order music equipment. They've obviously branched into the internet. They are an authorized dealer for everything, and they have a very large brick and mortar presence in NYC.

They are extremely reputable and have been around a long time, doing it B&M, mail-order, and internet.

Great company. I've bought all my digital cameras and memory cards from them. They'll match prices from other internet companies right over the phone. They have outstanding sales on Fridays, and usually offer the best prices on new Harman Kardon receivers.
