seems the adaptation of RF instead of IR for consumer electronics remotes. Suspious is that sony, phillips, samsung and panasonic are on board, but not the custom installation manufactures crstron, amx, niles, urc ect.

Wow. This is kind of big news, but it would have to be truly universal (no pun intended) for it to take off... Unfortunately it's a hard sell as the transition period would be very rough for all involved.
