New DLP TV, any Suggestions?

I just read in HT mag that Hitachi & Toshiba are leaving the RP market to concentrate on plasma & LCD.

Well,

I pick up my new TV today.

Sony KDF-50E3000. It is a 3LCD rear projection set. 1080P. Looked nice in the store.
Plus, it was the only other TV Best Buy would let me take, other than a 50" Samsung 720P DLP (which is just a newer model of the one I am having replaced).

So, I took the better of the two.

Anyone have any thoughts on this Sony TV? I read reviews from Best Buy site, everyone likes it.

Thought here would be a better place to ask though.

Reliability

These HD tv's made in China are not the most reliable.
They are made for a price not long term reliability
I have a Yamaha DPX -1. Its 7 years old. Other than the
lamps...nothing has gone wrong. It was made in Japan.
Mitsubishi was made in Irvine near the corner of the now
closed El Toro Marine base.
