No one knows yet. The better Onkyo's are adding the lastest DSP engines from TI in order to do TrueHD and Master Audio lossless decoding and Burr-Brown 1796 DAC's... but, if they aren't implemented correctly can have negative impacts on feature sets and audio quality. Will DeepColor support just mean pass-through, or will the Silicon Optix video processors be able to do upconversion of incoming signals to xvYCC color depth (if you run the HDMI feed to a DeepColor display), and by doing so eliminate 8 bit color banding and other errors associated with such consumer grade video?
I don't think anyone knows what Denon (and its sister Marantz) is going to do. Heck, they haven't come out with any literature or firm specs. yet. I smell a delay a-brewin'.
