New Def-Tech 9000 Series Owner

Hi all,

I am a new owner of the 9000 series from def-tech. Picked up the 9060 towers, 9060 center, and 9080 rears. I had already bought the pro sub 1000 while trying out a different set. I will more than likely return the sub but wanted to know power. I also just picked up Yamaha Aventage 1070 received to power these animals. Will this be enough power without getting into an amp as I have no idea with that. I love good sound but have always been middle of the row Polk guy with lower to middle end receivers. My last receiver I just replaced was a Yamaha A750 Aventage and then an RXV-571.

Well, look at the specs of each and draw your conclusion. You should be fine.

Good move on the DT "sub" imitation. What are your spl goals? How far from speakers to your seat?
