The 4311 is one bad mofo! :) I think if I had the extra coin i would have picked it up instead. I really like Audessey XT32 and it's true dual sub EQ and also the "preamp" mode feature. :)
Your right, I would love to have the multi channel input...
The Audessey xt32 is just for set up and not that important to me today.
With me using the crossover, the dual sub EQ is not important either.
I have apparently talked myself into the 3311, and at $800 ish, I will be happy with it.

Now on to the speakers....on another thread of course. (sorry mods)

For me, and our acoustically challenged room, Audessey really makes a differrence. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with either of those AVR's. :)
