I can only give general explanations. I have a lot of purchasing experience.

Again thanks a lot. I am looking at the Onix speaker, the 39" towers with that 605 Onkyo reciever and a SVS sub...

An option I didn't think about. That does eliminate the need for stands, and gives a lower extension on the frequency response. I would say that would be a better use of funds.

After everything is said and done it is around 1800...I can afford it but It def goes above what I wanted to spend...the 200+ dollar shipping isn't so cool, haha. Now to fight my finger to click purchase on the SVS and Onix site...ah!

I recommend you get the mtm towers instead of the sls towers. I have auditioned the mtm towers, and they are an incredible value, sound great too.

We are talking about $130 bucks. $130 bucks stands in the way of pure audio ecstasy. $130 bucks over lets just say 5 years of audio enjoyment = $26 bucks a year. Just think of all the ways we blow $26 dollars a year. (Drinking, Gambling, Drugs, Hookers).
