Its not really the money, its the principle.
I may be willing to pay, but the real question is, will the average consumer be willing to step up?
BluRay seems to think that now they have won the technology battle, they still don't have a war on their hands. I don't see near as many ads, the selection of movies really has not improved, and the players seem to get worse, not better, judging by some of the video chips I see implemented.
Just playing the devils advocate here.
