Need to Repair or Replace Midranges of Kappa 7

Those will not work at all. There is no way they could crossover at 800 Hz, you would blow them right away.

There is one of yours, but you can see from the photograph it is in tough shape.

This is absolutely incorrect..those earlier 2 inch domes ironically are crossed over at a lower point than the kappa...usually at 5 and 600hz..kappas cross at 800...so 2-300 hz higher..ive been using those 2 inch domes for 2 years no problem

I saw a couple of posts on ebay for infinity polydome midranges, but they are apparently for different speakers. Would they work for the Kappas? If not, I will probably just get some new speakers.

I just noticed how old this post is..but yes they work..ive been using for 2 yrs while searching for original polys to rebuild....just in case you boxed the speakers up and put them away and still have..they work and sound good
