Need speaker advice!

Hey guys,
Incredibly new to speakers so excuse the lack of knowledge. I current own a Bower and Wilkins Zeplin speaker, incredible sound quality and quite loud. On the second hand market they are only selling used for $300 aud. I’m looking to upgrade, specifically in loudness but without sacrificing sound quality, however, I have no idea where to start! I aim to get something that has come down in price - but still a ripper of a speaker

I would love some recommendations of speakers, some that could be potentially bought second hand for under $500!

I believe the B&W Zeppelin is a self contained powered speaker. Adding another wouldn't necessarily get you true stereo.

What are you aiming to get out of this effort? Are you please enough with the sound quality of the Zeppelin that you might wish to explore getting true stereo?

What sources of music do you currently use? The room size and shape, your distance to the speakers and distance between them, how loud you like to listen, and budget must all be considered. You might look at a pair of Audioengine or similar powered speaker pair if you're not planning on getting a receiver, integrated amp, or AVR.

What brands are available to you in Australia?
