Need some new Paradigms?

When I purchased my v5 Paradigm monitors, I was living in an apartment. I have the titans and cc-290 for my front stage and for my rear stage I am using a pair of mini monitors. Onkyo 605 is going to be replaced by Arcam AVR600. Now I am living in a house. All my stuff is in finished basement. Its time for a speaker upgrade now. Want to go with floorstanders and a pair of surround sound speakers. Which Paradigm line should I look at? System is mainly used for bluray movies and videogaming.

Are you dead set on Paradigms? I love them myself, but there are quite a few other good options out there. Do you have a budget in mind? I personally wouldn't go below the Studio series, but I'm more into music than HT and gaming. I don't know if the current series monitor line will give you that much of a boost in sound quality compared to what you already have. Do you currently use a sub? That would be my first recommendation if you don't have one or don't have a quality sub. I would look into a few other brands as well. I'm sure you'll get the standard recommendations of brands like svs ect. I'd check out Emotiva's new speaker line as well. They have compared favorably to the Paradigm Studio's at a much lower price.

What is wrong with the current system ? If anything go with the Monitor 7's or 9's up front then move the Titans to the back. Then get a killer sub from SVS or HSU to round things out.

Nothing wrong with my current system, it was fine when I was in my apartment. Now in the basement, alot more space and very open. Would like more sound.

Anyone have the price list for the current studio line?
Open to other speaker brand suggestions also. I have always had Paradigms though.

There is a price list for the v5 floating around here somewhere.

I have v4 100's and really like them.

How big is the room in the basement? If you like the speakers you have, I don't know what you will achieve by getting floorstanders. That is, of course, if you have a subwoofer. If you want higher quality, go with a higher line than the Monitor series. But, since you said you like the ones you have, why bother? I think a good/great subwoofer would be a better investment. In fact, if I had my time back, I would've gone with bookshelf speakers for my HT mains and spent the extra cash on a better sub.

The room is about 20x20 with 8 foot ceilings. Thanks for all the input so far
