I am selling my modest 2 channel stereo set up, or I want to at least. I have had for almost 6 years and am not sure if any of these items are wanted and what kind of pirice I should be asking for.

Here is what I have that I will be selling.
Onkyo TX-8511
Athena Audition AS-B1 speakers.
Teac PD D2410 cd player that is currently not reading CD's. I am going to try to clean it so lets assume that this would work and I can sell it for a small fee.
Two 10 foot Monster cables.
RCA Video Composite cable with gold bannana plugs
Two speaker stands, I don't remember the brand they cost me 50 bucks and sit at ear level. They work quite well. They are a special composite to absorb the vibrations that the speakers produce.

That covers it. Am I crazy or is the tx-8511 so outdated that it is selling for less than 30 dollars!! I thought maybe I would have some money to put towards a nice receiver and maybe some speakers, or start towards buying a nice tv but now I am not sure if it is even worth selling.

Any help is greatly appeciated.

I was going to post it on Craigslist. I just need to know how much I should be asking for. I think I paid almost 300 for the receiver 5 years ago. But I am not sure what it is worth now.

speaker stands

THe pics are horrible, I think there is something wrong with my camera. This is as good as I could come up with. I will try again tomorrow. I also tried editing the pictures on imageshack but kept getting errors.

Check and see what they are selling for on Ebay. You can look at the completed listings to get an idea.

Those stands look a lot like sanus or wood-tech.

I wonder if the TX-82511 could be used as a 2 channel amp in a home theater?
