Can you guys give me some pre/pro suggestions to research in the $2000 range. Do pre/pros in general run relatively cool compared to say receivers and amplifiers?
The other equipment I have is a sherbourn 7/2100, denon 3910 and a Toshiba 36" tube hdtv. I have been using a H/K 525 as a pre/pro and it has done fine but it runs hot and I would like to get a sound upgrade as well. I would also like a pre/pro that can take advantage of the denon 3910 in whatever way possible. What are some suggestions to research? I am also running jbl s-38's all around with the s-center which will eventually be upgraded to paradigm most likely.
