So I stopped at an electronic recycler the other day and wound up bringing home an untested lot for $80. 2 Kenwood receivers from the 80s (KR-A46 and KR-86R) along with 2 tape decks (Sony and JVC) and a Pioneer LaserDisc player. Found the Pioneer and Sony need repairs. No problem. The 2 Kenwoods and the JVC all work fine. Put the KR-A46 on Facebook Marketplace for $30. Are the KR-86R and JVC worth keeping? I don't think they're a bad deal. What do you all think?

Depends if they suit your needs and if the cost of repair is in your budget/goals I suppose. Personally no interest in laserdiscs, tape decks nor old 2ch receivers, just don't need or want them.

It would help if you post all of the model numbers- Facebook Marketplace, Craig's List, Ebay and other sites can be checked for asking prices.

Turns out the Sony tape deck and Pioneer LaserDisc didn't work so I passed them along. The Kenwood KR-A46 sold for $30 (most listings I found were $30-40). Keeping the other Kenwood. The JVC tape deck is a TD-X201C. Both Kenwoods and the JVC work fine.
