Need new receiver - H/K, Onkyo or Yammy?

I don't need a high scale receiver like the Pioneer Elite's or high end Denon's.

I am going to be running a PS3 for Bluray movies and your typical high definition box from Verizon. I just want a clean, simple, relatively inexpensive 5.1 setup.

I have come to the conclusion that there is no perfect receiver. I have researched all kinds and with every brand you find they have problems of some sorts. But some problems seem more likely than others. Anyway, I had narrowed my choices to........

Onkyo 705
HK 347
Yammy 663

For now, I am going to run these through the H/K HKTS 18 speaker system since I have them already in the house.

Each has their issues..... there appears to be a sparkle issue with the HK and the Yammy apparently has a the BTB issue (which I have no idea what that means).

Any suggestions?

I would go with the Yamaha, it's probably the best bang for the buck you can get right now. The BTB issues refers to it's ability to pass blacker than black... but I wouldn't sweat that, it's a great receiver.

I just read a little about the BTB issue. It appears it really only shows up in Bluray playback, computer use and game use. But apparently you can switch the PS3 playback to a limited range that takes away some of the problem.

I am leaning towards the Yammy. But would be curious about anyone who has experienced the BTB issue with the Yammy or is it really just not noticeable at all?
