Yes, actually, I do think the new machines will come out chuck full of features. I also think that they will be backwards compatible (at least in HDDVDs case), rendering the DVD player in the cabinet of the person making the purchase obsolete, or at the least banishing it to the secondary system. I also don't think that there will be an affordable entry level player for a minimum of a year or two, at least not a decent one. I'm not in a hurry to shell out hundreds of dollars for used electronics with no assurances from Ebay. I was merely trying to express that in a comical manner and express one possibility as to why Buckeye was comparing two very differently priced models. I am however interested in the Denon 2910, mainly based on how positive the word of mouth and reviews are for it. The Denon is a little down on the priority list for now though.
