Please forgive me for my novice question but I am seeking the advise of professionals. The following is the equipment that I have.

We are a small town on a limited budget that is playing free movies for people in the local area. What speaker system should I use to produce quality sound. Hear is the kicker. I am looking for something that is mobile and easy to assemble/disassemble as we will be moving from the indoors in the winter to an outside shelter in the summer (maybe bluetooth?). I would like to create a theatre quality sound for an outside shelter that is approximately the size of a tennis court in the summer and an indoor building that is roughly the same size in the winter.

Did I mention we are on a budget?

Thanks in advance for your help.

It does but I don't think it's realistic, that's why I didn't put it on here. I know you won't be able to do this but if we can keep it less than $200 you will make people in this small town happy. But don't let that number stop you from giving any advice. And thanks for you help. Much Appreciated.

FWIW the previous thread http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/threads/need-advice-so-i-can-play-a-movie-through-projector-and-5-1-surround.108199/#post-1201963

Your budget isn't very realistic for the space you're trying to fill with sound as it seems you need amplification as part of the $200?
I know it's not, that's why I didn't originally post the budget. It's a tall order and that's why I am seeking the advise of professionals.

Let's try this, can you try to meet all the requirements I specified in my post. Try to do it for as little as possible. You might have to sacrifice sound quality or mobility or something.

I appreciate any advice you can give.

Best you can likely do is a pair of powered PA monitors, and that may or may not work well with the analog outputs from the br player. Something from Behringer perhaps. Might increase your budget by going diy on the screen with some 2x4s and a king sheet or something similar....friend of mine did that for his backyard viewing, worked well enough and is about as inexpensive as you can get screen-wise....

I like that idea. We couldn't produce any surround sound, right?

A couple hundred will get you a pair of these. Whether or not they meet your requirement for "quality sound”, get loud enough to cover a tennis court, or last more than a dozen movies is anyone’s guess.

If you live near a decent-sized city, I’d suggest getting something used off Craigslist.

I'm asking this of anyone (as well as the concerns of mguise).
Would it be feasible to broadcast via bluetooth or wifi and have the audience bring their own BT headphones (can be had for about $15 on Amazon). I guess thinking about the old drive throughs led me to individual speakers. Unfortunately if people brought their own speakers, I fear there would be echo issues where response times varied.?
Just brainstorming.

Also thinking of museum tours where one person is addressing many via headphones.
