Hello everyone, I am new to this site and relatively new to home theater. I am in the market for some new front speakers and need some help. I just recently bought a Klipsch 10" sub and a Pioneer VSX 816 receiver. I am looking to spend between 200-250 per speaker. I live in the middle of no where so it is quite hard to find anywhere to test speakers. I have been looking at some Infinity Beta 40's and JLB Stadium's. I am still up to recommendations and any and all advice is welcomed and needed.

Since you have a sub, bookshelf speakers rather than tower speakers may yield better sound quality in your indicated budget. Also, since you indicated local audio stores are unavailable a home audition from some of the better internet direct companies may be your best bet. These companies generally provide 30 day trials within which the speakers may be returned for full refund. Some of the companies even pay for part of the shipping.

Amoung these internet manufacturers are www.axiomaudio.com, ascendacoustics.com, and av123.com. All of these companies have excellent bookshelf speakers in your range. If you provide more details such as the intended predominant use and room dimensions more detailed suggestions will be possible.

Good luck

I love watching movies and playing video games; I also enjoy music to (rock, blues, acoustic) so it needs to be a well rounded system. The living room is only 15x17 and it is completely open to the kitchen which is a little bigger.
