need help

i have done as much research as i can as an american in the airforce in england, but am trying to put together a yamaha surround system (for the quality and price). i have the ns 515's speakers ( plan on getting the 777's for the front and the 303's for the sides). the yst-sw320 sub. the ns-2500 receiver is on order but my problem is that i need a good cd/dvd player. i have seen one that is 100+1 by onkyo. i know yamaha does not make one but can i get something that will work well with my new system. i hope i can get some good advice. please help an american in england piss off his heighbors.

Yammy actually makes several cd/dvd/sacd/dvd-a players, probly like 10-15 different models. I would'nt go with yamaha though on your dvd player, every one that I have had or demo'ed has had extremely long read and load times, but that is usually the biggest downfall. I'm in the AF too and I'm checking the BX website right now for product avail.

It does'nt look like aafes has any yammy dvd players. But this is a damn good dvd player for the money. I bought one for my friend a while back.
