Hey everyone,
I apologize if this type of question has already been asked but I'm having troulbe finding anything through the search function.
I currently have a Samsung LN40A550 LCD and if anyone has this set, knows that the sound is pretty bad.
I have a DVR-HD box and a PS3 40 gig hooked up to this set via HDMI.
I initially wanted to buy a pair of decent floor/bookshelf speakers but the gf does not like the idea. We live in an apartment complex and our living room is relatively small and the speakers would take up some space.
Now, I would love to buy a pair of small satellite speakers (is that what they are called?) similar to the small, cubed Bose speakers that will rest on the TV stand. I do not want to shell out that much money seeing how most of you think that you're just paying for the Bose name.
Any suggestions on a great pair of small speakers? I would also need a 5.1 receiver with this and a subwoofer.
I'm looking to spend no more than $600-800 on this when all is done. Thanks for everyones help and do not hesitate to ask me any questions if you need more info.
