Need help with my Onkyo TX-NR609

Whenever I power on the receiver, the front panel display just blinks with all the codes and you will hear a click everytime it blinks. It just loops back and nothing happens.

If it won't let you do a full microprocessor reset (per your manual) then might be time to say goodbye. Did you ever have it repaired under the extended Onkyo warranty program for the known hdmi/network board issue for their 2009-12 models?

You mean the factory reset? Tried that already but it didn't work. I removed all connections as well, same.

I followed the link you gave, it seems my issue is not related to that.

I have a similar Onkyo (HT RC370) that did suffer from it and exhibited similar symptoms when it died (and was repaired under the extended warranty)....hard to know. If you can't do anything with the reset not much you as a consumer can do....and if it is a board issue doubt they're any longer available and not likely worth repair.
