Thanks for reading my post I am new to this forum and I am in need of some adivce when it comes to in-wall speakers.

I currently Use A Yamaha RXV-2095 and I run two Velodynes SPL1200 and SPL1000 for bass, I am familiar with Klipsch B&W and Boston Acooustics but I have never bought an in wall speaker before.

We are having a new house built which is nearing construction and I have a Cut-out to work with that will house my 60" LCD and components i plan installing a speaker on each side of the TV in the pillars and then have a center installed above as for the rears they are going to have go into the ceiling and fire down since the space is open, wood floors will be used so that may need to be taken into consideration as well.

So far I have found Sonance and Boston as a choice I like the Axiom but they are not as stealth as i like, any suggestions you could give as far as going with a brand you like or 6" vs 8" woofer would be fantastic.

Thank you:)

May want to check out triad speakers. They have several features that would be good for your application. First All of their speaker lines are designed to sound the same (mag reviews always seem to be very strong). A silver LCR in room (box) speaker should have the same sonic qualities as the in-wall Silver LCR.

Second all of their speakers are custom made, and very stealth. If you have a difficult install, you can call them and they will build different sized speakers to suit your need. They will custom match any paint.

Third their in-ceiling speakers have excellent sound.

Enjoy

These companies also offer good quality options: Polk, Paradigm, PSB, Def Tech, Energy, Atlantic Tech, Infinity, JBL, Monitor Audio, RBH to name a few.

Do you have a budget in mind for the five channels?

Over the weekend I auditioned the Martin Logan Passages and Polk Audio LC265I, i have always liked ML but the Polks sounded a little but louder and more efficient the price was a little better $749 each vs $649 each

Anyone recommend a better price or an opinion on these speakers?:)

You might also want to consider going with something like Bay audio JM series speakers. Probabbly a bit higher end than the above mentioned in-walls, If your looking for something in that pricerange.

Hey guys has anyone heard of speakercraft?

I was looking online and stumbled across a set of MT6 One and I also like the way you can pivot the tweeter for their in ceiling speakers,

does anyone have any opinions on speakercraft?

I knew I forgot one, the SpeakerCrafts are also a great option. You might have a problem running the Polk LCs with your receiver since they are rated at 4 ohms.

RBH makes some excellent in-wall speakers. They don't (have to) break the bank either.
