Between those, I would get the ED stuff, as it comes with a much more powerful subwoofer. Don't get hung up on having tower speakers, or else you will overlook the bookshelfs offered from Ascend and Hsu. If I were to get tower speakers, I think I might go for EMP E5Ti towers or Infinity Primus P362 towers over the ones you listed, they are slightly cheaper too. That ED sub is a beast though, but for the same price you can also get a Epik Phoenix, and for a little more you can get a Epik Dynasty, which would outperform it. If you are going with ED, get the A6 CENTER speaker, and do not use the A6 MTM as a center. I have heard it is worlds better. Hsu and Outlaw Audio have some nice sales on their subs right now too, you could buy two Outlaw LFM-1 EX's for 1100 shipped, which is probably one of the best deals out there now. There's a nice sale on the Ascend CMT's too, those plus some LFM-1 EX's would be an absolutely killer system, and could be done for hardly more than 2K.
