Complete newbie to home audio here. Already having issues right out of the box.
I've only got my satellite box and a ps3 hooked up to the receiver. Both with hdmi cords, and my TV hooked up to the hdmi out on the receiver to the hdmi in on the TV. When I power on the satellite box the picture comes through fine, but the sound only stays on for about 3 seconds. Then the receiver automatically switches the audio source from cab/sat to TV. I tried to turn off the receiver, which put it in standby mode, but it turns itself back on and goes to TV as the selected audio input. If I change it back to cab/sat, it just goes back to TV on its own. Any ideas why it keeps changing back to the TV audio output and not staying on cab/sat? Thanks.
