Need Help setting up AV System

I just bought a Pioneer Elite 92THX receiver. I am hooking up a PS3 and DirectTV HD receiver to my Sony 46-XBR LCD. Should I run the HDMI from PS3 and DirecTV receiver through the Pioneer Elite or just run HDMI directly to TV and just run Digital Optical for sound to Pioneer Elite Receiver? Also I Have Polk RM30 speakers, should I biwire them or just wire them normally? I am leaning towards just wiring them normally, will this be okay? Thank you for any help.

I would just run the speakers normally, bi-wiring doesn't change anything. Bi-amping on the other hand might make a difference. As for the connectivity, I would run both to the receiver and then to the tv. That way you can use the new audio formats off Blu-Ray from the PS3.
