I just picked up the Yamaha rxv-4600 130w 7.1 AVR. Got it for $900 at tweeter on a open box deal. Now for the fun part, what speakers to get? Primary use will be for HT. I also plan on getting the new pb12-plus2 from SVS. My room is pretty large, about 3,500cft. It's not a dedicated theater but I am using a 65"hdtv for viewing. I want everyone who watches a movie with me to say, WOW a.k.a. Holy Crap! I can’t decide between the axioms, rockets, or paradigms. Will this receiver be able to run an epic 80 7.1 set up or should I step down to the 60's. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
p.s. I have listened to the digms studio 60's and wasn't blown away, but they were pretty good. I haven't haven't heard the other two speakers.

The RX-V4600 is a very good receiver. It has a beefed up amp section and should be able to drive just about any speakers you pick out. (as long as they are not Apogees)

Great deal by the way!

Enter the AH contest to win an Axiom Sub w/ a 5.1 system purchase. If you win, it might sway your decision. Two of the Axiom EP500s or EP600 should work just as well or better than the SVS sub.
It might also be worth while to do an inhome shoutout on the Axiom and Rocket mains. You are only out the shipping.
