I wasn't planning on buying a dvd player and was just going to use my ps2. How much of a difference would a dvd player make to the picture and sound. how about using the dvd player to play cds. Are my cds going to sound better if i bought a real cd player. If I am suggested to buy one i only want to spend around 100-200. Any advice would help a lot. Thanks

Would you put a chevy engine in a ferrari and expect the same performance?

Then why don't you get a decent dvd/cd player to get the most out of your audio system. And second get some decent cables. You will be plesantly surprised by the results.

First of all, we need to establish if the player is to be connected to a Ferrari or a Chevy. No need to put a Firrari engine in a Chevy, now is there?

Well now, it seems that Denon is the leader in the dvd wars. There are many models discussed on this site. So find the one that fits your needs and budget and, YES, getchuone.:)
