I have an all Polk speaker setup that includes 2 RTiA9 for my front speakers, a CSiA6 for my center channel, 2 FXiA6 speakers for my mids, 2 more FXiA6 speakers for my rears and 2 PSW505 subwoofers. I have a Panasonic PT-AE8000U 3D projector and a 106" screen. The receiver I am currently using is a Marantz SR7001 that has been a fantastic receiver but unfortunately it does not support 3D. So I am looking for a new receiver to replace my Marantz but need some help choosing one. The receiver needs to be 3D as well as IP or RS232 controllable. Any suggestions?

Have you considered instead getting a BD (Blu-ray) player with two HDMI outputs? That way, you can send the audio from it to your receiver, and the video directly to your projector. For example:

OPPO BDP-103 Blu-ray Disc Player

Probably, that will be less expensive than replacing your receiver with a quality unit that does what you want. You also get a great BD player this way.

The least expensive receivers I've seen with dual HDMI are the Onkyo lines. Fry's is still closing out the 616 and 717. However, you would then trade your oh so wonderful Marantz for err..um..Onkyo sound and reliability.

I'm going to throw one more solution out towards you. The Oppo is a fantastic Blu-Ray player. The other alternative is to get a video processor that separates the sound from the video like a DVDO Edge Green. (The green passes 3D signals.)

The Yamaha Aventage line has rs-232 control. You may consider taking a look at them, they're a solid choice.

Thanks for all the responses. I will have a look at everything that was suggested and let you know what I do. Also I guess I should have stated I am looking for a receiver around the $1,500 range.

Yamaha RX-A1020 is well within budget and the RX-A2020 is a little over.
