To make it short I want to add four computer case fans to my system to cool things down. one on top of av receiver one on sat receiver and two in back of cabinet. I would like to know will I be able to connect these four fans to one wall wart (I have several but would like to use just one). The fans are 80mm and the back of fan reads, 12v 0.12a 1.45w. The wall wart reads, dc output 12v 0.75a max.12w. Am I correct in thinking since the fans are 1.45w and the wart is 12w I can hook the four fans to it and they will work ok? I would like to plug it into the back of receiver so they will only run when equipment is on.

Sounds reasonable to me. I'm pretty sure that will work okay. I don't think that it will hurt anything if you try it out.

Yeah, It should be fine. The fans only draw about 2/3 of the rated current output from the wallwart. Even though those things are probably overrated. You can also use a computer power supply if you have any laying around.
