Hi, We are upgrading a home theater system and no longer need our Cabasse speakers. I am seeking advice on how much I can expect for them and best way online to sell. Thank you in advance!

Could try googling your speakers on ebay and see what's being asked for 'em. How much were they new, and how old are they?

*PS: model might help too...

Sometimes looking at only sold/completed listings on ebay is better to get an idea of what they've actually sold for than just what people are asking We have classifieds here on Audioholics, and other audio fora, also there are places like audiogon and hi-fi shark let alone your own local craigslist.....do include the model not just the brand, tho. Pics with and without grills and all angles around the speakers would help too.

Have no idea on price. They are over 20 years old. Thanks for the tips though!

If you do end up needing to ship them having the original shipping boxes is a bonus so bring that in (or warn them its not an option).....sometimes only local pickup works too for everyone involved.....

There's also US Audio Mart which is a good place for selling stuff. In Canada, we have the Canuck Audio Mart which is affiliated.

First of all, what is the model number of those speakers?

Second, what is it you don't like about the speakers, that makes you think you need to upgrade them?

We like them. They just take up too much space.

Yes, can only do a local pick up. Thanks!

These are french speakers, largely unknown in north-America. In other words, where you decide to list them online, make sure users from Europe are frequent visitors to improve your selling chance.
In a quick google, I was able to find two similar speakers for sale in swiss.

To TLS Guy's point - I think unless you absolutely have to get rid of them due to space contains, you will likely end up losing too much on sale to make it financially worthwhile. In other words, you won't be able to buy speakers of the same quality as what you get from the sale.
