Hello,
This is my first post and I am in desperate need of advice. I have done hours of research and I still have come to no conclusion. I am one of the many AV123 MFW-15 owners whose V2 amp has blown and I am in search for a replacement.

I have a large 10 foot ceiling room, which measures appx. 20 x 20 and is open to my kitchen on one wall. The television is located on the wall opposite the open space to the kitchen. I currently have a Denon AVR-1910 receiver and just upgraded to an 82" Mitsubishi 3-D television. I have a 5 ceiling speaker set up currently. Please let me know your thoughts on the below potential options:

I am considering upgrading my receiver to an AVR-911 and adding two Bic F12's. I would put one speaker on each side of my tv.

I am also considering just going for the Hsu VTF-15H and not replacing my receiver, as it currently works, but just isn't ideal for 3-D television.

Please let me know your thoughts on what is the better bang for the buck and whether there are options that I might be missing. Are there better options than the F12's that I am missing? I would love to keep the whole thing around $1000, if possible. HELP!!

Keep the receiver, purchase the VTF-15, you'll need a new BD-3D player so just get one with dual HDMI outs.

The MFW is a great sub: I'd suggest fix it if possible, or wire in a new amp. A blown amp is no reason to trash a good sub, unless you 'just gotta'.
You have a huge room to fill. If you decide to get a new sub, have you considered an infinite baffle? Much more work is involved than just swiping the credit card. I've owned & built many monster subs over the years and ended up happy with an IB. The sound quality is unbeatable, the WAF is excellent. Best of luck
