This is a HTIB system i just bought used. Onkyo DR-S 2.0
Active subwoofer, sounds just fine to my ears, but the Standby light never turns off. If I turn it up really loud (either the sub volume or the amp volume) the green Power light flashes faintly, but the Standby light stays on.
I guess this isn't really a problem, but it does not seem "normal" either. The sub also makes a thump sound when I turn the amp on or off, which seems to be a common issue from what I have dug up on the 'net.
Anyone got a solution to either of these? I am handy with tools, but don't know diddly about electronics. Maybe I am just looking for an excuse to take it apart...
